Overview
The Internship Program at Alliance Bible Fellowship is a high-investment one year apprenticeship for men and women who are either exploring, or believe they are called to, church ministry. The purpose of this internship is to provide an atmosphere within a local church to train, equip, and affirm men and women for church ministry.
We believe the church is the primary environment for accomplishing the task of developing leaders for ministry. Our commitment is to raise up the next generation of leaders and entrust them with the ministry of the gospel (2 Timothy 2:2).
We will introduce interns to the regular, day-to-day ministerial life and provide men and women with an ecclesiological grid for doing the work of ministry. We will give each intern a variety of leadership opportunities to explore their giftedness and calling. Alliance interns will consider what it means to build a church, not according to the latest cultural waves or “whatever works,” but according to all that the Bible says about our life together as the local church.
Goals
We aim to help interns achieve readiness for ministry in the areas of personal growth, spiritual growth, theological application, and ministry experience.
