WEDNESDAY WORSHIP & DEVOTIONAL
SOCIALLY DISTANT WORSHIP SERVICE
We hope you will join us for a socially distant worship service. We’ll sing a few hymns, pray for one another, and hear a brief lesson from the Bible. We will take extra caution to make this gathering as safe as possible for our senior saints and high-risk members who have not yet been able to gather for Sunday morning worship. The doors will be open upon arrival. Please wear a mask and leave plenty of space between the other members. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Talley at email@example.com.
Keep worshipping with us all week long. Our Worship Team has put together our Sunday Setlist, Sunday Worship, and Songs of Encouragement for you to worship as one while separated.
Stay connected with one of our four connection groups. Most of our groups are finding ways to stay connected through digital meetings. If you’re interested in joining a connection group, email Michael Talley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Activity Boxes – Parents and kids, check out this brief video to learn about a new, fun resource that you can use to grow closer as a family, learn more about God, and beat the boredom as we get ready for school!
Friday Email – We now have one email full of ideas for keeping the kids engaged during Sunday service and activities to do during the week.
Epic Wednesdays – 3:00-5:00 pm – Every other Wednesday we will be offering Epic Wednesday’s outside weather permitting or in the gym if raining. This two hour time is offered for kids to come and have time to fellowship with friends, listen and apply a devotional time, play a sport, complete an art project, and have a snack. It’s Glory Days in a two-hour slot! Reservations are required. Parents can enjoy a couple hours of reprieve in the commons with coffee and snack 🙂
Engage Bible Studies for 2nd-5th grades – We are continuing our Engage Bible Studies this fall on campus 5:30-7! We are adding a 2nd/3rd grade study in addition to our 4th/5th grade study – Reservations are required. We will plan to be outside weather permitting.
Open Gym – We will be taking reservations on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for families to come and play in the gym- we will lower a few basketball goals, put out balls, hoola hoops, corn hole and a variety of equipment so your kids can play and blow off steam. Reservations will be required 12-2 and 2-4. (This is not a drop off event- parents must stay and watch children)
Sunday Night Home Groups – 5:00-7:00 pm – Home Groups will meet in the homes of families here at Alliance. Right now they are set up to serve students in outdoor settings. Students will break bread together over dinner, ask questions and discuss the Scriptures that are being taught in our student ministry, and pray with and for one another. These groups will meet on the last Sunday of every month with the opportunity to meet twice a month or every other Sunday night starting 8/30. We will keep families updated on the scheduling.
Sunday Morning Student Connect – Starting – TBD Student Connect is another way our student ministry seeks to train and equip your student(s) for a lifetime of impact for the name of Jesus. We want our students to be effective in their walk with Jesus now as a teenager. Student Connect will have a rotation of topics from the Old Testament to apologetics and everything in between.
Wednesday Night Student Gatherings – 6:00-7:30 pm – Student Gatherings are a great way for students to invite their friends to a warm and safe environment where they will hear the gospel each and every week. Students will have the opportunity to worship through music, hear the Word taught, and engage in small groups with their peers and adult volunteers. We will be dividing our ministry between middle school and high school to create more space for students. One group will meet in the gym and the other group will meet in the atrium.
