We are hosting an audio and video training on August 23, 2026 from 1:30-4pm. We are excited to work with everyone to strengthen their skills and learn in a safe environment. Here is a schedule:

1:30 - 2:00 PM - Welcome and updates

2:00 - 3:00 PM - Session 1

3:00 - 4:00 PM - Session 2

Each session will have two offerings. Clayton will lead a training on the video equipment and the broadcast systems. Hunter will lead an audio training in the Auditorium with the mixing console. Once you attend one session, you can attend the other, giving you the option to cross-train and serve in multiple areas. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills and ways to serve our church.

Conversation Connection is a ministry where people in the community can come to learn English or improve their language skills in a casual setting. Through the relationships built in class, we share our faith with others and reflect the love of Christ.

Conversation partners don’t need to speak a foreign language. You don’t need to be a teacher or lead the class. The only requirement is that you are a native English speaker (or have near-native English proficiency) and have a basic understanding of grammar.

Volunteers are also needed to help with setup (making coffee and putting out food), as well as cleanup.

Fall semester class starts at 6:30pm on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in the Commons. Dinner is provided for volunteers and students beginning at 6:00pm.

We'll be launching our THIRD THURSDAY Men of Alliance schedule on Thursday, August 20th. Come learn more about our men's ministry plans and vision for the future. The evening's activities will begin at 6 PM with a BBQ dinner being served. So mark your calendars now. If you are a man of Christ, a Man of Alliance, and a guy that enjoys good BBQ, you will not want to miss this evening!

Our culture makes it so easy to feel stuck financially. Credit cards, car loans, money stress... that's not what God wants for us! That's why Alliance is hosting a Financial Peace University class this fall. Together over nine weeks, we'll walk through God's ways of handling money so we can experience freedom with our finances!

Alliance family- we have a unique opportunity to serve App State students and their families as they move in for the fall semester. College Connection is asking for our help carrying boxes, passing out water, and sharing the gospel with potentially hundreds of young people in a couple of weeks.

Now that school’s out, come join us for a special Missions Movie Night at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 26. All ages are welcome, from young children to seasoned adults—and everyone in between! Discover how God used missionary Amy Carmichael to rescue young girls in India and to care for them with the compassion of Jesus Christ. Her amazing legacy continues today as children are still hearing the Gospel and experiencing God’s enduring love. We’ll share together how to encourage and pray for ABF’s missionary family. Don’t miss it. You’ll leave inspired.

Beginning June 7th, Sunday morning worship service times move up 30 minutes.

The next Baptism Sunday is September 20th. Believers are called to be baptized as a symbol of belief in whole-heartedly following Jesus Christ.
