Teach them to obey:

The heart of the mission to multiply followers of Christ, to partner with the work of missionaries on the field, and the obedience to follow the Lord’s calling.

This Saturday Equip Conference we will be learning and growing in our ability to live out our faith evangelistically. Each of us are called to fulfil the Great Commission and one way we do that is by evangelizing our neighbors, our coworkers, and our community. This Saturday we will walk through the questions of why we evangelize, God's role, and specific questions and problems in witnessing to the community.

This Sunday and this week as a whole we want our church to know how to obey the Great Commission that the Lord calls every one of us to. The heart of the mission is to live out our faith here and now, to support our missionaries that are on the field, and to be willing to Go where the Lord calls you. This Sunday we will hear from Joe Hunziker who is the director at an evangelical camp in Italy.

Wednesday will be focused on how we practically obey and participate in mission work that is being done by Operation Christmas Child and our own ABF Missionaries. We will begin the night in the gym wih a smaller and prayer-filled time of packing shoeboxes. We will transition to the Atrium for the second half of the night, where we will play a Missionary Game Show about ABF Missionaries. The goal of this night is to support the mission of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse, and to learn more about ABF Missionaries in order to support them better. By doing these things, we OBEY by participating in missions while here at home, and supporting international missions.

This year, Alliance’s goal is to collect 2600 shoeboxes by packing in the home and at church.

Samaritan’s Purse delivers these boxes to children all over the world and teaches a gospel-centered discipleship program called The Greatest Journey.

Collection Day at our church will be Sunday, November 22, 2026.
