If you’re in Boone and you’d like to help out by meeting some basic needs of folks in our church and/or community, fill out this form https://abfboone.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/763/responses/new
We are a group of college-age students, primarily from Appalachian State University and Caldwell Community College. Our desire is to be the kind of group where broken people find grace and healing. That means you don’t have to be perfect or have it all together to be a part of our community. We are all broken people experiencing God’s grace and healing, which ultimately comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We would love for you to check us out.
There are several ways to get involved.
We worship together on Sunday mornings with the entire Alliance church family. IF YOU NEED A RIDE, please post your request on the Alliance College Connection Facebook page.
We gather on Sunday evenings at Alliance at 6:00 for some hangout time, homemade dinner, Bible teaching and discussion, and engaging worship. If you need a ride, meet at Peacock/Raley Circle at 5:30.
We have several small groups that meet throughout the week. These personal gatherings are usually held in a living room at a church member’s house because, after a while, fluorescent lights get annoying.
Because the majority of your life is spent with 18- to 23-year-old students, we think it is important to venture off campus every once in a while to meet the other people that live in Boone. Fortunately, our church is filled with godly men and women that desire to pour into the lives of college students.
