Pack at the Church + Pack in the Home = 3,000 Boxes!
Collection Day – Sunday, November 19, 2023
This year, we plan to do 3,000 total, in the home and at church. To begin this OCC campaign, we’re asking that you bring one of three WOW items to the church between now and November. Items include:
- Soccer balls
- Stuffed animals (about 12 inches tall)
- A doll (also 12 inches).
Or you may donate increments of $10 for the cost of WOW items. These items will be used for our packing party in the fall.
Also between now and the fall, we encourage you to lead your family in packing shoeboxes in the home. You can do this by picking up boxes in the atrium, or build one online.
See below for details!
Please bring items that will fit in a 7in x 4in x 11in shoebox.*

PACKING PARTY
Friday, November 10, 2023 | 6:00pm
Our goal is to pack 1,500 boxes!
Join us for a church-wide Operation Christmas Child Packing Party! You will have the opportunity to put pack a shoebox with donated items, write a personal note for the shoebox, and pray over the child who will receive the free shoebox. Please consider donating WOW items for the packing party.
PACK AT HOME
In addition to packing at our packing party, please consider packing a box in your home. Our goal is to collect 1,500 boxes between now and Collection Sunday or at the Thanksgiving Dinner (Nov 19, 2022).
You may do this by building a shoebox online or by picking up one (or more!) boxes from the atrium on Sunday.

Alliance’s goal is to collect 3,000 shoeboxes by packing in the home and at church.
Samaritan’s Purse delivers these boxes to children all over the world and teaches a gospel-centered discipleship program called The Greatest Journey.
Collection Day at our church will be Sunday, November 19, 2022.
