Jesus called us to reach out to people from every nation — and we take this charge seriously. At Alliance we are involved in or have founded several large scale projects that have a global impact. Throughout the year, we also have short term mission trips where teams travel abroad to make a specific impact in other countries.

Jeff & Terri Rains | ZMission, Loja, Ecuador
Zinzendorf Mission (ZMission) – Through short-term mission experiences, God led Jeff and Terri into cross-cultural ministry and gave them a love for Latin America, where they served as missionaries for 14 years. They spent three years based in the U.S. (and attended Alliance) but returned to Ecuador in 2011. The Rains work and minister near Loja, Ecuador, for a couple of reasons. ENVISION – Missions Outreach Opportunities with the C&MA
Envision is a movement within the C&MA that specializes in missional engagement, equipping followers of Jesus to live well in a post-everything world. The two main branches of Envision are Sites and Labs.
Our 20 Sites provide opportunities to participate in what God is doing around the world-whether it’s through connecting with local churches, serving in urban settings, or bringing social justice to dark places. Participants experience discipleship working with and serving under long-term workers who are pioneering, building, and leading impactful ministries in their cities.
Our Labs are specific experiences tailored to shape leadership and faith. Envision’s 3 Labs are Films, Campaigns, and Summit. Films explores the intersection of faith and culture. Campaigns offers tangible ways to make a difference in social justice issues. Summit is a yearly gathering that provides young influencers with a week-long leadership experience in an international setting.
