We seek to exalt Jesus Christ by reaching all high school and middle school students with the gospel, connecting them with other Christians, and by helping them grow in their faith.
Summer ’23 Events Calendar:
Regular Events:
Wednesday Night Student Gatherings
Wednesday nights, 6:00-7:30pm | Gym | Doors open at 5:30pm (During each school semester)
These gatherings are specifically designed for 6-12th grade students. Students are encouraged to bring their friends to these gatherings. At these gatherings students will engage in worship through song and prayer, teaching from the Word of God, and then be able to discuss what they just heard in small group discussion. We have small group leaders for every grade for both guys and girls. Our leaders are trained and equipped to help students take their next steps towards Christ. Students will be encouraged in their walk with Christ or to trust in Him for the very first time.
Sunday Night Home Groups
Every 2nd Sunday, 5:00-7:00pm | Off Campus | September – December
Home Groups are designed to be a less formal environment from everything else we do. Students meet in homes of church members on the 2nd Sunday of the month from September-December. Students will have the opportunity to eat dinner together, discuss the Scriptures, and pray together. We want students to be able to build deep friendships and community centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ.
11th & 12th Grade Co-Ed Proverbs Study
Select Sundays, 6:00-8:00pm | Bald Guy Brew
This study is designed for both guys and girls in the 11/12th grade. We understand that this age group is in a different phase of life as they look forward to life after high school. This study will take place at Bald Guy Brew on Old US 421 from 6-8pm. We will eat dinner together and then walk through the Proverbs with a careful eye to see what God wants us to know and what God wants us to do. There are so many situations and circumstances that teenagers will find themselves in that we can clearly see happening in the Proverbs as well. One of the biggest things that teenagers can learn from the Proverbs is situational awareness. A teenager should be able to ask, “Based on what is going on around me or to me, what is the best decision that I can make that glorifies God?” Please be in prayer for your teenager and their friends as we seek to follow Jesus together.
Student Leadership Program

2nd Sunday of the Month | Grades 7-12 | Year-Round
Our Student Leadership Program (SLP) is an incredible way for students to use the gifts, talents, and abilities that God has given them for the furthering of His Kingdom. Teens who serve will likely serve far into their adult years.
There are 3 tracks that are in the Student Leadership Program that students can serve through:
- Outreach – This track will develop students who desire to be outward focused with the gospel of Jesus Christ in Boone and surrounding areas.
- Worship/Tech – This track will develop students who desire to lead others in worship through music and other means. These students will be mentored by worship leadership.
- Elements/Events – This track will develop students who desire to design and create a welcoming atmosphere for all things student ministry. This track involves events throughout the year as well as Wednesday night gatherings.
This program runs year-round with monthly leadership training meetings on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Lunch is provided at these meetings because they take place right after the 2nd worship service.
Students must currently be in the 7th grade or above. Email JP Poisson for more information.
