We seek to exalt Jesus Christ by reaching all high school and middle school students with the gospel, connecting them with other Christians, and by helping them grow in their faith
Summer Events Calendar:
Wednesday Night Student Gatherings
Wednesday nights, 6:00-7:30pm | Gym | Doors open at 5:30pm (During each school semester)
These gatherings are specifically designed for 6-12th grade students. Students are encouraged to bring their friends to these gatherings. At these gatherings students will engage in worship through song and prayer, teaching from the Word of God, and then be able to discuss what they just heard in small group discussion. We have small group leaders for every grade for both guys and girls. Our leaders are trained and equipped to help students take their next steps towards Christ. Students will be encouraged in their walk with Christ or to trust in Him for the very first time.
Sunday Night Home Groups
Every 2nd Sunday, 5:00-7:00pm | Off Campus | September – December
Home Groups are designed to be a less formal environment from everything else we do. Students meet in homes of church members on the 2nd Sunday of the month from September-December. Students will have the opportunity to eat dinner together, discuss the Scriptures, and pray together. We want students to be able to build deep friendships and community centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ.
11th & 12th Grade Co-Ed Proverbs Study
Sundays, 6:00-8:00pm | Bald Guy Brew
This study is designed for both guys and girls in the 11/12th grade. We understand that this age group is in a different phase of life as they look forward to life after high school. This study will take place at Bald Guy Brew on Old US 421 from 6-8pm. We will eat dinner together and then walk through the Proverbs with a careful eye to see what God wants us to know and what God wants us to do. There are so many situations and circumstances that teenagers will find themselves in that we can clearly see happening in the Proverbs as well. One of the biggest things that teenagers can learn from the Proverbs is situational awareness. A teenager should be able to ask, “Based on what is going on around me or to me, what is the best decision that I can make that glorifies God?” Please be in prayer for your teenager and their friends as we seek to follow Jesus together.

>>Rooted Conference – Girls Retreat at Look Up Lodge – Travelers Rest, SC
Being a girl in American culture is the internal battle that your girls are fighting everyday…and they are exhausted. Young women are faced with a new, culturally relevant idea of beauty, self-image, and relationships nearly every minute of the day. Between Instagram, TikTok, friends, and Youtube, their heads are spinning with what society calls beautiful and worthy.
This conference is designed to give them a break and a chance to create a solid foundation of truth about their identity. Our dynamic group of speakers will guide them through things like their view of God, view of themselves and redefining what a woman is based on the image the Lord paints in scripture. Our sessions will touch on the mental strain that comes from comparison, toxic relationships and the value that each girl holds. Our prayer is that your girls go home knowing just how worthy and loved they are having realized that the Lord has set them free from worldly standards!

>>Foundation Conference – Guys Retreat at Awanita Valley – Marietta, SC
This conference is designed to guide young men through foundational beliefs and the unique traits the Lord gave to men. We want to provide them with practical tools that they can use in their everyday life to lead, protect and serve those around them. Young men will be able to learn about what God expects of them as they grow up in the Lord. Students will be able to learn from the Word and put it immediately into practice.
This weekend will be filled with impactful teaching by guest speakers, hands on learning and exploration around Awanita Valley! We will spend a majority of our time outdoors.

Student Leadership Program
2nd Sunday of the Month | Grades 7-12 | Year-Round
Our Student Leadership Program (SLP) is an incredible way for students to use the gifts, talents, and abilities that God has given them for the furthering of His Kingdom. Teens who serve will likely serve far into their adult years.
There are 3 tracks that are in the Student Leadership Program that students can serve through:
- Outreach – This track will develop students who desire to be outward focused with the gospel of Jesus Christ in Boone and surrounding areas.
- Worship/Tech – This track will develop students who desire to lead others in worship through music and other means. These students will be mentored by worship leadership.
- Elements/Events – This track will develop students who desire to design and create a welcoming atmosphere for all things student ministry. This track involves events throughout the year as well as Wednesday night gatherings.
This program runs year-round with monthly leadership training meetings on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Lunch is provided at these meetings because they take place right after the 2nd worship service.
Students must currently be in the 7th grade or above. Email JP Poisson for more information.
