Wise Financial Resources is a new ministry being launched at Alliance Bible Fellowship that provides curated resources from various trusted Christian authorities/experts at our church.
Fear drives a lot of our decisions, reactions, and thoughts in this life. However, the Bible is full of verses that tell us to “Fear not…” (over 365 times it’s mentioned). Isaiah 41:10 not only tells us to “FEAR NOT” it also comes with some guarantees:
Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Notice the opening statements regarding who God is and why He can say FEAR NOT in the first place and the fact that He is with us. Then notice the guarantees that I’ve underlined. It’s easy to forget what’s fleeting in this life and forget what’s Eternal! God is with us!

So how do you respond to the current economic conditions we’re facing? Here’s another question that comes from Money Wise, a weekly report I receive.
Have you experienced losses from investments you thought were safe? No matter what you’ve lost, there’s always hope. When we experience a financial setback, it’s good to remember the words of Solomon in Proverbs 23:
Do not weary yourself to gain wealth,
Cease from your consideration of it.
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.
Solomon tells us to put our trust elsewhere. Wealth can be lost as quickly as an eagle can fly away, but our hope in God can be rock-solid and eternal. He promises to never leave us nor forsake us.
